Ikarigeseki Spa |

Located on the prefectural border near Akita,
there used to be a checkpoint here during
the age of the feudal domain. This is a historical
spa and such people visited here as Tadataka
Ino who drew the first map of Japan, Shoin
Yoshida a prominent figure in the last days
of the Tokugawa shogunate and the lord of
the Tsugaru feudal domain. In this spa, there
are modern hot springs with warm water pools
and recreational facilities. The Yunosawa
hot-spring, which was discovered by miners
in the age of the feudal domain, the Furutoobe
hot-spring and the Hisayoshi hot-spring mountainous
areas can also be found here, along with
hot spring resorts in the center of villages.
All of these have a different appearance.
