Peony festival at the "Museum of Mitsunobuko" |

Peonies have been planted in memory of Mitsunobuko, who was the founder of the Tsugaru feudal domain, because peonies are connected to the family crest of the Tsugaru family. During the season, 1,000 large peonies are in full bloom everywhere, and the Tsugaru Haiku Contest and an outdoor tea ceremony are held.
